One of the popular Might and Magic titles by Ubisoft, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, is now available for Android and iOS devices.

There exists a powerful blade that can control demons; the blade was guarded by the elves, knights and wizards of Ashan. However, during a certain eclipse, the protective walls weakened and so the demons are freed plunging chaos into Ashan. And it’s up to you to save the world from the hands of the demons and prevent the blade from landing into the hands of the demons once again…

Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes Video Gameplay

Graphics: Very Good
For a 2D game, the graphics are well done and is able to capture the classic style of DS graphics ported to mobile devices. The overall graphics is bright, colorful and kid friendly making it quite an attractive game at first impression.

Sound: Good
The music sounds great and if you viewed the cut scenes, the music is a great fit with the game’s overall “feeling”.

Playability: Very Good
The game actually looks good on mobile devices with a big screen. The user interface is neatly arranged in a non-distracting way; however, for small screen devices this might cause a problem. The game’s battle mechanics require you to move units around the formation, once you plucked that little elf over there – there’s no return. There’s no undo button when you make a wrong move. So like in the case of users having big fingers, moving around the tiny units in the army may cause some problems in the gaming experience. There’s also some few bugs in the mobile device versions that’s quite annoying. Unlike most RPGs, the game lets you move characters around the map in circular nodes, there are cases where the nodes are hidden from the screen and unclickable, resulting in characters getting stuck at a particular node and can no longer move forward.

Nevertheless, the game is actually very fun and addictive. However, the bugs and glitches on the mobile version may ruin the gaming experience for some newcomers and old time fans to the RPG series.

Pros: Gameplay is fun and addictive. Graphics are colorful and kid friendly. Battle mechanics is unique and challenging.
Cons: Some bugs in mobile devices.
