Surrender is a 3D top down action shooter game powered by Unity3D for the browser.
Those who like military shooter games will most probably enjoy Surrender as a casual game that involves aerial or terrestrial battles.
Players take control of a single guy who is basically a “One Man Army” and can pilot each of the different available military vehicles from cool looking tanks, jeeps and even helicopters. You got only one mission – and that is to destroy the enemy base.
Surrender Video Gameplay:
Graphics: Very Good
The 3D rendition of the game is very well done. It looks great with its detailed vehicle designs and smooth animations. The trajectory of projectiles looks realistic and doesn’t look awkward.
Sound: Good
The background music fits the game’s militaristic theme, giving off a feeling as if you’re in a “Black Hawk Down” movie or something similar.
Playability: Good
The game controls are easy to learn and are responsive enough, although the handling of the vehicles is dependent on the type and speed of the vehicle you’re driving. The game’s objectives are also easy and straightforward, with not much ado – players can just go straight to the enemy’s base and destroy it to their heart’s content.
However, the game does need to improve on its difficulty level. I found myself repeatedly restarting the first few levels a lot of times. In order to successfully win the level, you will have to do some testing and think of certain strategies you can come up with using the different vehicles at hand. You can’t just up and choose one vehicle and use that all the way – switching to a different vehicle depending on the situation is critical to the game. The helicopter might seem cool for you, but it’s way too weak against turrets – Ah! I learned that the hard way.
Nonetheless, the game does have addictive quality on it and you can’t help but get challenged to finish the levels. It’s definitely worth a try.
