Another cool new action strategy game has popped into Facebook – check out Mutants Genetic Gladiators.
Staged on a post-apocalyptic futuristic era where endless battles are held in team based arenas, Mutants Genetic Gladiators has you play as one of the Psy-Captains with the aim of breeding the ultimate mutated warriors to become the best of the best. Breed zombies with warriors, or mechs against demons – your choice, your challenge. Challenge AI battles in quests or other players in the fight to the death.
Mutants Genetic Gladiators Gameplay Video:
Graphics: Very Good
The concept of breeding is not new to the gaming world; however, the game has implemented this system rather well in the visual aspect. Targeted to the modern generation, the game has managed to perk the curiosity of gamers with the question: “What happens if I breed this zombie to this mech?” – the resulting hybrid is also rendered very well. My first mutated hybrid from a zombie + warrior got me a really cool looking Death God like avatar with a huge ass sword. With that said, the game’s hand drawn graphics is really amazing to boot! The character design is really amazing.
Sound: Very Good
There’s nothing more worth playing than a game with awesome graphics and epic music. The game’s soundtrack is movie-worthy with a mysterious sci-fi feeling to it. Fits the game perfectly!
Playability: Very Good
I’m not exactly a fan of action strategy games that oozes lots of masculinity on it, but this game definitely got into my playlist. Although the game uses the common facebook friends list panel at the bottom, surprisingly enough, the interface does not look cluttered. In fact, this game is best played in full screen to fully appreciate the battle scenes. The gameplay is easy enough to understand since there’s not much to do except collect and breed mutants then go to battle arenas.
Cons: Some mutants are bought with real cash. Some players will have a better advantage with mutants bought with real cash.
